Food Truck Fiasco!

Objective:

Food Truck Fiasco is the latest game in our queue. The objective is to gain the most Foodie Points as you serve up food to the customers waiting at the different locations.

Turn Round:

During the active player’s turn, they:

  • Draw a map card and place it on the growing city.
  • Roll 2D4 and gain the combination of what the rolls indicate (see the rules for details).
  • Optionally, use any movement points you have to move around town.
    • Saving movement, like saving money, is not necessarily a bad idea.

But the non-active players also obtain ONE of the 2D4 combinations that the active player rolled and banks the resource.

Some more details:

  • Employees allow you to serve more than one person at a stop.
  • If you can’t meet the requests of the customers, you’re not selling to anyone else during your turn.
  • Employees cost money to keep employed.
  • Customers who are satisfied compensate you with any combination of:
    • Foodie Points
    • Money
    • Discounts for ingredients.
  • Did we mention ingredients cost money too?
  • And don’t forget, movement is needed to get to the different locations.

State of the game:

Food Truck Fiasco! is in early development with almost no game play so far. It’ll be at Protospiel Rochester 2025 for viewing and I’ll be looking for feedback.
