Protospiel Rochester 2024
Thank you to everyone who came our to our 1st Protospiel Rochester!
I organized Protospiel Rochester 2024 expecting to have 20 to 30 people attending. I was extremely surprised with double that in attendance! Thank you all!
A summary of the event is:
- 55 badges sold through TableTop.events website and a few more were sold on-prem.
- 16 game designers (though at least 3 were a team).
- One (1) artist who is interested in doing game artwork.
- 10 prototype games listed.
Given the response and inquiries about future ones, I’m happy to announce that Protospiel Rochester 2025 is getting organized now and should be live in another month or so. The current plan is to have it at the same location on September 5th, 6th, and 7th, 2025 (the weekend after Labor Day).
I didn’t get a chance to sit down with all the games, but those that I did were interesting and look to have a lot of potential. I’m looking forward to seeing how they develop between now and next year!
